Are you thinking about getting your colon cleansed? I know once I get my mind on colon cleansing it’s hard think of anything else. Colon Cleansing is one of the most interesting, and exciting topics I have ever had the pleasure of discussing. If you are as excited about colon cleansing as I am then boy are you in for a treat! Because in the next few minutes you are going to learn everything you would ever want to know about getting your colon cleansed!
OK Seriously… Who looks forward to getting or talking about a colon cleansing? No one. But the hard truth is, it’s something that has to be discussed.
Colon cleansing is probably not a topic you want to bring up at the dinner table: “Hey dad will you pass the salt? You’re not going to believe how well my colon cleansing went today!” But if your doctor has recommended you get a cleansing, or you just have your heart set on it then there are a few things you should know before you dive into this wonderful and exciting procedure.
Here are 4 Benefits of Colon Cleansing
1. The first benefit of a Colon Cleansing is the Reduction Of Constipation!
If you are an American then you probably have a poor diet and your body is lacking the essential nutrients it needs to expose of waste properly. If this is the case then the intestine walls will become lined with a plaque-like substance that is terrible for your health.
Colon cleansing not only helps out in removing the junk out of the intestine, but it will also allow the waste to pass off more freely.
That way you won’t have to bite down on a stick every time you have to do your business.
2. The elimination of Diarrhea!
OK, now who isn’t interested in having less diarrhea?!? I don’t care who you are, if you have diarrhea, you are not a happy camper.
Diarrhea is usually caused by a build up of toxins in the colon. If this is not cleansed overtime it can cause problems for the whole process of solidifying waste.
3. Avoiding Colon Cancer.
If someone’s family has a history of colon cancer than a routine colon cleansing at least once a year can ensure a smooth running colon and greatly decrease their chances of contracting Colon Cancer.
4. Significant Weight Loss.
A very effective benefit of colon cleansing is the experience of Significant Weight Loss. The average colon weighs up to 4 pounds. But is is not unusual for a successful colon cleansing process to flush away 10 to 30 pounds of stagnet fecal matter from the body.
YUCK!!!!

We’re going to start you off with a warning:
Some of the images in this artcle are not for the faint of heart, and ColonCleanserReports.com does not endorse examining your own stool. You can catch parasites by touching stool, so it’s not recommended.
I don’t know how often you colon cleanse, but what I do know, is that 95% of Americans need to cleanse their colon right this minute. Not only because it helps prevent disease and parasites, but because it helps you lose weight. The weight cleansing helps you lose is the weight that diet and excersize won’t touch, it’s the heavy paste that lives in your colon with no way out. Doctors say that you should cleanse at least once every year.
Take a look at these pictures and they’ll show you why it is important to cleanse regularly:

This is one example of what can come out of your colon after just ONE cleanse. I don’t know what’s worse, the rubbery stool, or the wet newspaper.

This person used a chopstick to handle their rubbery colon paste.

This is a series of pictures of stool after multiple cleanses, all from the same person. As you can see, the paste is black, which means it had probably been sitting in their colon for several months, or even years. This guy had a lot of bad stuff in there. And statistically speaking, heavier adults (or overweight people) have a much larger amount of this trapped in their colon, and they usually have a harder time getting it out.
So that’s what colon cleansing looks like. Not so great, huh? But it’s worth it!

I know it seems like a scary thought, but 1 in 3 Americans has parasites living in their bodies, and 2 out of three of those Americans have parasites living in their colon. It doesn’t mean that they are dirty, or less hygienic, it simply means that they ate something that had parasites in it already.
Common types of parasites found in the colon:
- Round Worms
- Tape Worms
- Giardiasis
- Pin Worms
The Roundworm:
The roundworm is usually transferred from animals to humans. It breeds quickly and spreads throughout the body at an alarming rate, ending up in the most unusual places. The two most common places are the colon, and your eyeballs. That’s right, in your eyes.
The picture to the left is an illustration of roundworms in your intestines, and it’s very accurate to how they multiply. If you do a Google Image Search for roundworms in humans, you will be shocked at what comes up. It is not a laughing matter, and to be honest, it is a lot more common that you would like to think.
If you think you have roundworms, contact your doctor immediately.
If you have a roundworm in your colon, it might be cleared out with a basic colon cleanse, but you probably don’t want to take your chances with that. These worms are disgusting, and they are contagious, so don’t let your animals lick inside your mouth, actually, you shouldn’t let them lick inside your mouth for any reason. Gross.
The Tape Worm:
How would you like this guy hanging out in your intestines? As you can see by the ruler, this tapeworm is probably 6 – 8 feet long.
Merck say’s this about tapeworms:
“Tapeworm infection of the intestine occurs when people eat raw, contaminated pork, beef, or freshwater fish. Most people with tapeworms have no symptoms, but some report abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Anemia may develop in people with the fish tapeworm.”
Yikes! I eat undercooked food all the time. I have sushi at least 2 or 3 times a month. Maybe I should get checked. But just in case you weren’t already grossed out, here’s some more information from Merck:
“The pork and beef tapeworms are large, flat worms that live in the intestine and can grow 15 to 30 feet in length. Egg-bearing sections of the worm (proglottids) are passed in the stool. If untreated human waste is released into the environment, the eggs may be ingested by intermediate hosts, such as pigs, cattle, or (in the case of fish tapeworms) small crustaceans, which are in turn ingested by fish. The eggs hatch into larvae in the intermediate host. The larvae invade the intestinal wall and are carried through the bloodstream to skeletal muscle and other tissues, where they form cysts. People acquire the parasite by eating the cysts in raw or undercooked meat or certain types of freshwater fish. The cysts hatch and develop into adult worms, which latch onto the intestinal wall. The worms then grow in length and begin producing eggs.”
If you eat sushi as much as I do, make sure you eat the ginger that’s on your plate, ginger actually help kill the parasites living in the raw meat, plus it’s really good for you.
Giardiasis, what the heck is that?
I know that this may scare you a little bit, but giardiasis is the said to be the leading cause of diarrhea. It is usually transferred through dirty water and undercooked foods, but unlike our other parasites, this is also considered to be an STD (sexually transmitted disease). Don’t ask me to explain how a colon parasite can be transferred sexually, you can do the math on that one yourself.
Where does it come from?
Are you ready for this, it comes from stool - Here’s what giardiasis.org says about it, “Giardiasis is spread via the fecal-oral route. Most people contract the disease by ingesting contaminated water or food, or by not washing their hands after touching something contaminated with Giardia cysts. Although humans are the main reservoir of the parasite, a variety of domestic and wild animals, such as dogs, cats, cattle, beavers and deer carry Giardia species and can infect humans. ”
A common way for people to catch giardiasis is by using a water-bottle repeatedly and not washing it. This causes fecal matter to get trapped in the lid and spread giardiasis. A little known fact about giardiasis is, giardiasis is the leading cause of canker sores.
The Pin Worm:
To the left you see Dr. OZ and Oprah looking at a case of the pinworms. The pinworm usually resides in the lower intestine, and can make you very, very itchy in and around your anus. Don’t worry though, because as fast as they come, they go just as fast.
The Pinworm is very common in children, and less common in adults. It’s known as “seatworm infection,” “threadworm infection,” “enterobiasis,” or “oxyuriasis”. So when your doctor tells you that your child has enterobiasis, just be glad to know that some Preparation-H should do the trick.
People commonly mistake pinworms for hemorrhoids, and the pinworms are gone before they can get a proper diagnosis. I quick colon cleanse will usually do the trick, and have the pinworms flushed out in no time.
There you have it. Common parasites that may, or may not be treatable with a good colon flush.

I remember the days when I was a kid, and all I had to think about was whether or not I was going to have fries with my burger, and FIBER was the last thing on my mind. I didn’t even know what fiber did to my body, and to be honest, I didn’t care.I went about my day eating candy, drinking soda, and playing with my friends. Those were the days.
Now, as an adult, fiber is a huge part of my life. I get bread that has not been bleached, I eat beans, sprouts, and other high-fiber vegetables with every meal. I eat high-fiber cereal for breakfast with a piece of fruit and a side of OJ or Acai berry juice. I drink high fiber shakes, take fiber tablets, and I commit with every fiber of my being.
But what does fiber do for me?
Before I explain what it does for my body, let me explain what it is so we can better understand.
Fiber is the indigestible part of plant material which cannot be absorbed by the body. It is generally categorized into two different kinds — Insoluble fiber & Soluble fiber.
Insoluble fiber is the kind that passes through our digestive system, but does not dissolve in water. Because it doesn’t dissolve in water, it adds extra bulk to your stool and has the ability to absorb water like a sponge. This is the primary reason fiber is such a key element for a healthy colon.
So this is why fiber is so great:
Fiber helps move the paste that gets stuck in your colon and bowels. Because your body can’t absorb fiber, it pushes it through the colon to move it out of your body. As it passes through, it picks up particles that have been sitting in your colon for a long time (sometimes months or years).
Fiber helps you stay regular with bowel movements and helps loosen your stool, this allows your body to stay clean, and it lowers cholesterol. So I guess you can say that beans, beans, they’re good for your heart, the more you eat em, the more you.. well you get the idea. It’s not just a clever song anymore.
What are some good sources of fiber?
- Edamames
- Kidney Beans
- Whole Grain Bread
- Fruit
- Lima Beans
- Broccoli
- Carrots
- Oranges
- Pears
- Plums
- Psyllium Husks
- and the list goes on…
It’s not hard to find a meal that is high in fiber. So, don’t wait for the doctor to tell you life changing news, start cleaning your colon today.

Acai Berries contain powerful antioxidants, antibacterial elements, anti-cancer elements, and anti-inflammatory compounds, that Strengthen the cardiovascular system. This is why it is known as natures superfood.
Acai berries contain very high amounts of essential fatty acids and omegas, and have been proven to lower LDL and maintain HDL cholesterol levels. Acai Berries also contain a remarkable concentration of antioxidants to help combat aging and prevent ugly wrinkes. The Acai berry is a dense source of a particular class of flavonoids called anthocyanins (red-blue phenols with powerful antioxidant properties).
The Chemical Makeup of Acai Berries
The primary anthocyanin in Acai berries is cyanidin-3 glucoside, which has been found to be 3.5 times stronger than both Trolox, a Vitamin E analogue, and the predominant anthocyanin found in red wine, malvadin-3 glucoside. Anthocyanins have been found to demonstrate many potential therapeutic effects, including treatment of diabetic retinopathy (the blindness which often afflicts persons with diabetes) and fibrocystic disease of the human breast.
The ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) of Acai berries is higher than any other edible berry in the world. The closest competitor to the acai berry is the blueberry, and the acai berry holds over 100-times of the cleansing benefits.

When you do a Google search for ‘Colon Cleansers’, there’s a lot of junk that comes up. So, who do you believe? All of these sites claim that they have the proprietary formula, or they know the secrets to weight loss, or they have uncovered Rachel Ray’s plan to a better, healthier life. Well the truth is, you cannot trust all of those claims. In fact, you shouldn’t trust anything that is not independently tested.

Colon Cleansing Myth #1: “Colon Cleansing Will Cure all of my Weight Loss Issues”
Although colon cleansing can speed up the process of rapid weight loss, it is not the ONLY thing that you should rely on. In-fact, if you only rely on colon cleansing as your primary diet, you may find yourself hospitalized due to lack of nutrients getting where they need to go. You should only cleanse your colon once or twice a month, and some medical professionals actually recommend only cleansing once every year.
Colon Cleansing Myth #2: “You Don’t Need to Cleanse Your Colon, it will Cleanse Itself”
Unless you always intake the appropriate amount of fiber every day, this is not a true statement. Like I said before, colon cleansing should be done, at the bear minimum, once every year. These keeps your colon walls clean, absorbant, and ready to take in all of those great nutrients. As always, before colon cleansing regimines start, you should always check with your primary care physician.
We’ll have more myths busted in the next few days.
